  13. Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? Ezekiel 38:13) U.S. planning troop build-up in Gulf after exit from Iraq NewYork Times, October 29, 2011 The Obama administration plans to bolster the American military presence in the Persian Gulf after it withdraws the remaining troops from Iraq this year, according to officials and diplomats. That repositioning could include new combat forces in Kuwait able to respond to a collapse of security in Iraq or a military confrontation with Iran. In addition to negotiations over maintaining a ground combat presence in Kuwait, the United States is considering sending more naval warships through international waters in the region. With an eye on the threat of a belligerent Iran, the administration is also seeking to expand military ties with the six nations in the Gulf Cooperation Council Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman. While the United States has close bilateral military relationships with each, the administration and the military are trying to foster a new “security architecture” for the Persian Gulf that would integrate air and naval patrols and more EVENT COMMENT The New York Times had this fascinating report this week. As America withdraws from Iraq (possibly leaving the door open for Iran) they are going to reposition troops in the Saudi peninsula. Notice how the US is seeking to expand military ties with every nation in this area. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE and Oman. These are all Arab nations which are currently pro American anyway. All of them have seen some uprisings but all of them have survived and the kingdoms are intact and remain pro Western in outlook. The reason this is fascinating is that the Bible accurately foretold this exact situation. The 6 nations mentioned cover the ancient area of Sheba and Dedan. Sheba and Dedan are allied to Tarshish (Britain) and “young lions” – offspring of Britain – eg America, Canada etc. The military alliance foretold is about to be born. http://www.weeklyworldwatch.co.uk BIBLE QUOTE

  15. Zechariah 14 1 ¶ Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

  16. Zechariah 14 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

  17. Zechariah 14 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
