NETWORK IT High Level Functionality • Subscription-based, rather than advertisement-based, to ensure that the site is seen as trustworthy & inclusive • Distinction between those who are able to post messages on the website and those who are only able to read the content • Possibly sub-sites for SMEs & students • Moderated by informed person
NETWORK IT Governance • Co limited by guarantee – not for profit • Around 8 shareholders/funders: Intellect, e-skills, CPHC, CIHE, NCC, BCS, CBI, IET, WCIT • Supporters/initial funders: DIUS, DCSF, BERR, Cabinet Office etc • Other supporters: Eurim, Pitcom, Profess Bodies
