  1. www.cheon-il-guk.org Hi, this slide show is going to take you through OMS to help you get familiar with some of the most common features of OMS. The first thing we are going to do is click on [Login], top menu.

  2. This is the login page. If you are a PARENT you will be selecting [Parents Login]. Your child would be selecting the [Applicants and Candidates] button in order to register, and use their side of OMS.

  3. Enter your email address and the password that was given to you by email. The email will come from support@cheon-il-guk.org.

  4. Each of your children who are listed on OMS will be listed here. NOTE: the date of their last update Select your child

  5. What is important on this page? PrintView

  6. PrintView allows you to follow the progress of your child’s profile. Please guide in content, grammar, and spelling. Pay especially attention to the essay questions. By the way, a photograph of a coffee plant won’t do

  7. What is important on this page? After PrintView Potential Candidates is next

  8. Click for More to access the limited profile of this individual. This view is the same for anyone who has selected a candidate to look for a potential match for that person. Either you are the candidate, the parent, the sponsor, or the advisor. This screen is the same for all.

  9. What is a limited profile? • A limited profile keeps the individual unknown to the reader. • No pictures • No physical or email address • No phone # Why?

  10. The philosophy of OMS Searching for a life partner is not an easy thing to do. Both sides have to be truthful about personal situations in regards to physical, mental, and social abilities as well as health. It is not possible to easily or deeply share that kind of information with a “stranger”. Such personal life details can be shared once a feeling of trust has been established. Anonymity can serve such trust building. During a preliminary search, candidates and their parents will have the option to read what OMS calls a candidate’s “Limited Profile.” A Limited Profile does not reveal the identity of the candidate but, if well written, should provide enough information to give the reader a pretty good idea of the person’s character. The ability to ask questions about a Limited Profile via a private and secure anonymous email system is necessary to keep both sides honest and without the fear of being “discovered”.

  11. Make good use of the messaging system – CLICK on the evenlope.

  12. No one is going to read the mail exchange between Parents. If you so wish you can identify yourself but I would personally not do so until you are sure that it is what you want to do. Use the system as intended. It will help you.

  13. Let us look at OMS from the point of view of your adult child.

  14. When registering for the 1st time: Enter your email address, choose a password, and click [Register]

  15. Answer the security question

  16. All the questions with these *** have to answered.

  17. This is your main screen. Self explanatory. Go from screen to screen. Let’s go to Screen 1

  18. This particular applicant is a first generation. If it was a blessed child it would say so under: Category

  19. Screen 3 Is slightly different for: Individuals who do not have their parents at the center of their process and individuals who do. This screen is for those who DO NOT have parents at the center of their process.

  20. Screen 3 This screen is for those individuals who do have their PARENTS at the center of their matching and blessing process.

  21. Please take the time to read the content of the website. It truly has a lot to offer. And if you can please support OMS. OMS is a free service provided by Cheon Il Guk Incorporated, an independent non-for-profit corporation that works in collaboration with the BFM to serve our members worldwide. Money for this service does not come from HSA-UWC but from private donors.

  22. Thank you
