百科知识检索. 地学馆. 关于中国大百科全书. 《 中国大百科全书 》 是中国最大的综合性百科全书，涵盖 66 个学科内容，收条目近 8 万余条，插图 5 万余幅，是查找各学科基本知识和资料、人物以及著作的重要工具书。它从 1980 至 1993 年分 《 地质学 》 、 《 环境科学 》 、 《 电子学与计算机 》 、 《 中国文学 》 、 《 外国文学 》 等出版了纸质本 74 卷。随后光盘版和网络版陆续问世。在中国大百科网站数据库可按关键词、分类、字母索引等方式检索 66 个学科的术语，查询各类人名、地名、机构、事件等近 8 万个条目，浏览 5 万余幅插图。
