  4. WHEN DID V-DAY start in Japan? • A Japanese chocolate manufacturer started a marketing promotion in 1958. • They promoted Valentine’s Day as “the day women confess their love to men by giving them chocolate.”

  5. 義理チョコ（ぎりちょこ） • What’s giri-choco? - giri-choco is chocolate you give to people you have appreciation (sometimes obligation) towards to. You give them to teachers, guy friends and your boss.
