We can read it and understand what the Lord would have us to do . . . and since that is the case - we can read it and understand it alike - (Ep. 3:3-5; 1 Cor. 1:10). We are told to "understand what the will of the Lord is" (Ep. 5:17) therefore it is IMPLIED that we can.
