IBM Blade Center ACTIS HOW CAN I USE ACTIS TO BUILD A BLADE CENTER QUOTATION ? • Step 1 = Use latest Actis • Step 2 = in Actis, check the following boxes • Enterprise Com Server > Infrastructure > Blade Server -> if you want OXE running on Blade Server • Voice Service > 4645 > Blade Server -> if you want A4645 Voice Mail running on a separate Blade Server • Step 3 = Generate the Actis offer (to be sent with the PCS form sent to Alcatel) (there will be no CPU in item list)

IBM Blade Center QUOTATION TO WHOM DO I HAVE TO SEND MY BLADE CENTER QUOTATION REQUEST ? • Step1 = Since Blade Center is under PCS Status (Premium Customer Support) thanks to fill-out the PCS form , accessible on BPWS, PreSales corner/ PCS section). • Step 2 = Send all information (Actis offer, PCS Form, ) to: jean-marie.bonte@alcatel-lucent.frAND franco.apuzzo@alcatel-lucent.fr

  6. IBM Blade Center ORDERING WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO ORDER BLADE CENTER ? (1/2) • Step 1 = We will quote for you, your Blade Center solution with Blade, prices & Pro Services package. Then we’ll send it to you for approval. ( Service Request number will be provided) • Step 2 = If you agree with the Blade Center quotation and you want to make order, please send an email to Professional Services with your agreement and the Service Request identification which have been provided. -> email =Professional.services@alcatel-lucent.fr ( fill « Blade offer request » in the title email)

  7. IBM Blade Center ORDERING WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO ORDER BLADE CENTER ? (2/2) • Step 3 = Pro Services send to you the official quotation and you must return an order form. Pro Services will order for you the Blade Center directly to IBM. • Step 4 = warning, on your side, you will have to order the OXE items, as usual. Warning: any change to the Actis configuration (nbr of nodes, nbr of users, … ) can impact the existing Blade quotation. In this case, please contact us.

IBM Blade Center INSTALLATION HOW AND WHO WILL INSTALL MY BLADE CENTER SOLUTION ? • Step 1 = Alcatel Pro Services will install the Blade Center Solution, that’s why there is a Pro Services Package included in the quotation. One BP ACSE Expert is mandatory on site during installation. • Step 2 = After installation, Pro Services will train your Expert about how to maintain and upgrade the Blade Center (training part of the Pro Services Package)

IBM Blade Center HW SUPPORT WHAT ABOUT THE BLADE CENTER HARDWARE SUPPORT POLICY ? • Hardware Support = 1/ Once the Blade Center is installed on site, the IBM hw support contract is transferred to the customer. 2/ IBM will support you in case of hardware problem (similar to Appliance Server policy) Remark: After the end of warranty, if you wish an Hw support contract, please call IBM for that.

IBM Blade Center OXE SW SUPPORT WHAT ABOUT THE ALCATEL SOFTWARE SUPPORT POLICY ? • OXE Software Support = 1/ Alcatel Software support concerns only OXE products (not the Blade Center) 2/ If you need software Support Alcatel for OXE, please create a Service Request or contact Alcatel Call Center (usual process).
