Description Supply List &Use Instructions Know What You Need Get a recommendation list of what supplies are standard to have for recording vital signs along with recommendations for products based on accuracy, ease of use, and other considerations such as FSA/HSA qualification. Know How to Use Instructions on how to use each recommended item along with pro tips for getting the most accurate readings. Know What's Normal &What's Not Handy reference range for what is considered normal in most adults, along with space to write personalized recommendations from your doctor so you will know if a reading is high or low and when to alert the MD. Interpreting Your Readings Identify an Emergency Information to help you feel confident about calling 911 or reporting to the emergency room when things aren't right. Empower your decision with vital sign readings and symptoms your loved on might be having. Communicate with Your Doctors Understand how to have better conversations with doctors about vital signs. Know when to call and report abnormal readings and what to say. Take this log book with you to appointments to show the doctors what you are seeing. Troubleshoot Abnormal Readings An abnormal reading isn't necessarily an emergency, but it's important to know what to do next when a reading is too high or too low. Pages on each vital sign to understand what to do and what questions to ask when a reading doesn't seem right, and if there was another explanation for the reading that could be prevented next time. Troubleshoot Crazy BP Sometimes trying to figure out your blood pressure can be overwhelming. It's too high one minute and too low the next. Normal for a day or so, and then sky high again. I've had so many patients deal with this, and I know how frustating it can be. Learn more about some of the possible causes and how you can partner better with your doctor for improved BP.
