What is the OHFB? • Created by 2007 Legislature • SB 329, Chapter 697 OR Laws 2007 • “Healthy Oregon Act” • 7 members appointed by the Governor • Majority (4) not associated with health care finance or delivery • Appointed mid-Aug, ‘07 • Confirmed by Senate mid-Sep, ‘07 • Organizational Meeting Oct 2, ‘07

  3. Statutory Charter of OHFB • “The intent of the Healthy Oregon Act is to develop a…comprehensive plan, based upon the principles…of this…Act, that meets the…goals of the program.” • The Board “shall develop a comprehensive plan to achieve the Oregon Health Fund program goals.”
