  2. 75% VLT 99.5% UVR 94% IR FACTS XIR® XIR® Heat Reflecting Laminated Glass XIR®is a spectrally selective film composed of multiple metal and metal oxide layers. The film is encased between two layers of Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) and glass to make XIR®Heat Reflecting Laminated Glass. XIR®Heat Reflecting Laminated Glass blocks out 99.5% of Ultra Violet radiation and 93% of Infra-red heat, while transmitting 75% of visible light.
