  3. Risk Potential Assessment (RPA) • Profoma designed to provide an initial assessment of potential programme/project risk at key lifecycle points • Judgement and knowledge of the programme/project

  4. Engagement Process • Low Risk • Medium Risk • High Risk • Healthcheck

  6. Charging • CPD Introduced Charging on 1st April 2010 • High Risk Reviews = £19k or £12k • Medium Risk Reviews = £10k • Healthcheck = £6k • NI Team = £3.5k Charges apply Per Review (Note: prior to 1st April Reviews were subject to the cost of the external resource circa £1000+ per day)

Summary Three processes Low risk, Medium and High – • All Cases over £500k and under £20m threshold should be tested by completion of an RPA • Use of lite or strengthened QCT Reviews where appropriate • Gateway is mandatory for over £20m even if RPA is assessed as Low Risk • Use of Portfolio Leader • If in doubt contact CoE
