No matter how precious we are, mosquitoes end up in and around our house, and it is extremely important to get rid of them as soon as possible. And it is important to make sure we keep our house free from them, especially during monsoon season. However, no matter how hard we try, we can't always get rid of them. But there are certain ways to control mosquitoes at home and some home remedies that can be used to get rid of mosquitoes. 1. Stop mosquitoes from entering: Make sure to protect your home with mosquito nets or netlon. Get rid of stagnant water because that is where mosquitoes lay eggs. So it's better to get rid of stagnant water, like water that comes from the air conditioner, or water that's stagnant in backyards. 2. Use incense sticks, scented candles, and essential oils: Mosquitoes cannot withstand smells from any of the mentioned. Fragrances like lavender, lemon, rosemary, basil, and citronella are some of the best that can be used. 3. Choose the right plant: If you feel that these incense sticks and scented candles are heavily fragmented, then you can just plant any of these: rosemary, basil, and mint. Apart from being a mosquito repellent, they also add an amazing compliment to your dishes. Make sure to place them near the window so that they can deter mosquitoes and get enough sunlight. 4. Garlic spray, lemon, and clove: These are very common mosquito repellents. For garlic spray, just peel the cloves of garlic, cut them into pieces, and put them into a bowl of water. Simply spray them all over your house. For lemon and clove, just stick a few cloves into a half lemon and place them across the room.
