  • Develop and Build Positive Relationships
  • Greet with Warmth and Excitement
  • Establish Consistency and Clear Expectations
  • Focus on the Positive and Work Against Your Wiring
  • Recognize and Work Within Each Student’s Temperament
  • Drop the Leash to Create Win-Win Situations
  • Make a Plan for Challenging Behavior
  • Develop Habits and Have Patience (at least 3 weeks)
  • Accept the Things That We Can Not Change
  • Have Fun, Treat Each Day As A New Day, and Be In the Moment
