Augmented Reality in Today’s Electrical and HVAC Industry

Augmented Reality brings the 3D environment to the real world, Using Augmented Reality for Electrical and HVAC contractors can implement simple to complex applications like asset assessments, service documentation review, repair requirement summaries, repair qualification activities, work order prioritization, location routing and more. This is a great way to test, train, maintain, servicing, assesses that increases productivity and reduces cost.

  1. Augmented Reality in Today’s Electrical and HVAC Industry Augmented Reality brings the 3D environment to the real world, Using Augmented Reality for Electrical and HVAC contractors can implement simple to complex applications like asset assessments, service documentation review, repair requirement summaries, repair qualification activities, work order prioritization, location routing and more. This is a great way to test, train, maintain, servicing, assesses that increases productivity and reduces cost. Application of augmented reality in electrical for 3D model presentation is used in every field of engineering, projecting virtual 3D models in the process. However, the most commonly AR is used in the area of mechanical engineering, civil engineering, etc. where load, heat distribution, temperature and oil level, etc. can be visualized and evaluated with AR devices and diagnosis of the problem without any delay the services can be prioritized. AR allows overlaying virtual 3D objects to physically existing production site, the result of the simulation process, installation techs, and field workers can begin testing structural and physical requirements without actually needing the physical fabrications on the Jobsite. The use of Augmented Reality in construction presents accurate BIM models without actually being present, thus it is beneficial for both the designer and the end-user in giving out information and view more realistically achieving cost reduction while saving time and resources.
