rasau 3d seismic an outstanding opportunity
RASAU 3D SEISMIC: AN OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY

Current Position

  • 49 shallow wells, mostly oil, declining over time
  • Last survey conducted in 1992:
    • Inadequate data at deeper gas levels
    • Separate on/offshore data limits insight into crucial coastal strip
    • Some areas not explored

The Opportunity – Explore More, Develop Gas

  • Latest, world-class technology delivers detailed, integrated view of subsurface
    • More precise, deeper and safer drilling
    • New gas discoveries and more production from known reservoirs
    • Vital first step to create a successful Bruneian onshore gas industry
  • UNLOCKING FUTURE REVENUE, EMPLOYMENT AND
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR BRUNEI
