Method 3:  When Two-Step Authentication Is Enabled: Recover password on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: • Go to the Settings > [your name] > Password & Security and then Change Password. • For the iOS 10.2 users, open Settings > iCloud > [your name] > Password & Security > Change Password. • Provide the passcode to your device.

  11. For Mac users: • Go to the Apple menu, and then System Preferences menu item. • Open iCloud. • Tap on the Account Details button. • If you need to reset your Apple ID password, click in the “Forgot Apple ID” or “password” option, and follow the on-screen prompts.
