Part-23 Reorganization • Recognizes That Rules Must be Tailored to Product Characteristics to Maximize Safety Benefits • A single level of safety and certitude are not applicable across all aircraft and operations • Striking the right balance between risk and certification requirements is critical to enabling new safety technology
