Comma splice- two or more sentences incorrectly connected WITH a comma and NO conjunction. Example: Incorrect-The mosquito flew around my head, I ignored it. 2.) Run-on sentence- two or more sentences written together as one sentence or WITH a conjunction and NO comma. Example: Incorrect- The mosquito flew around my head I ignored it. Incorrect- The mosquito flew around my head but I ignored it.
