Turmeric(Curcuma longa) • Turmeric is a very effective herb for various types of allergies. • This herb is a natural antihistamine that restricts the release of histamines in the blood and reduces allergic reactions. • The presence of curcumin compound in the turmeric deals with all the symptoms related to allergy.

  11. Methods of Usage • Take half teaspoonful of turmeric powder in a cup of hot water. Drink this mixture once. You can add honey for taste. • Take half teaspoonful of turmeric powder and add it in a cup of cow’s milk. Drink this milk once or twice daily. • Take a teaspoonful of turmeric powder and red sandalwood. Add water in it and apply over the affected area for 20 minutes.

Licorice(Glycyrrhiza glabra) • Licorice herb deals with the symptoms of allergy. • The anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, etc properties of this herb deal with all types of allergies. • Skin rashes, itching, cough, cold, chest congestion are treated with regular use of this herb.

  13. Methods of Usage • Take one-fourth cup of Mulethi root, a half teaspoonful of ginger juice. Boil these in two cups of water until remaining one cup. Drink this herbal tea once or twice daily. • You can chew licorice stick for problems of cough, cold, nasal congestion problem.

  14. Cinnamon(Cinnamomum zeylanica) • Cinnamon’s anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, and immune-modulatory properties deal with all types of allergies. • The symptoms related to allergy are managed with the regular use of this herb.

  15. Methods of Usage • Take a stick of cinnamon, add it in two cups of water. Boil it until remaining one cup. Drink this hot herbal tea 1-2 times daily. • Take half teaspoonful of this powderand half teaspoonful ginger juice. Mix these two in a glass of water. Boil it until remaining half cup. Add one-fourth teaspoon of honey for taste. Drink this herbal tea once daily.
