  2. About Logical Reasoning in CAT Logical reasoning forms a part of the verbal ability section which carries around ten to eleven questions. Good marks in this particular section will boost your percentile and you will be able to get into top B schools in India. Even though this is a comparatively easier section, candidates need to apply some smart tricks to solve the questions in this section.   3. Understand the exam pattern well The questions in this section are usually based on Matching Puzzles, Seating Arrangements, Constraint-based Arrangements, Syllogism, Blood Relations –Family Tree, Assumptions, Sets, Statements, Binary logic, Clocks and Calendars, Venn Diagrams etc.

  4. Solve previous years’ question papers The only way to master this particular section is to practice. This can be done by solving the last years’ question papers. By solving these test papers, you will be able to understand the vocabulary and the terminologies that are used in this section. Additionally, you can take the online mock tests to understand how much more you need to work on this area.

  5. Solve questions according to various difficulty levels Start with the easy level question and then gradually move to the difficult ones. The issue with the questions from this section is that they look similar as more or less the same language pattern is used. This makes it difficult to figure out which question is easy and which one is not. Therefore, by practicing these questions on regular basis, that too according to various difficulty levels; you will become well-acquainted with this section.
