  1. AWESOME PHOTOSand captions NUAMES YEARBOOK 2015

  2. Jeffrey Thompson was five-months-old when his parents decided to visit Maryland. Although he does not remember anything about the trip, he often hears about the nature walk along the coast with the boardwalk that had cracks in it because his mother twisted her ankle in one of them shortly after this picture was taken. Thompson laughs when people tell him he’s a cute baby.

  3. NUAMES’ Technology Student Association competes on a state, and usually a national, level in a everything from robotics to fashion design. The group went to Washington D.C. for the 2013-14 competition and was there for four days. TSA members would like NUAMES students to know there’s something in TSA for everyone.

  4. Jimmy the Ladybug said his favorite time to go plant climbing is in the early morning, right as the dew begins to settle. He spends his extra time training to survive a variety of plant styles and situations, including when plants are wet like this. Ladybug says plant climbing isn’t for everyone, but that it’s worth the effort.

  5. California’s official Turtle Skater contest was held this year on Friday, May 17 at La Jolla Beach House during 80-degree weather and a slight breeze. Clare Killer Turtle was one of the entrants in the soft-shell competition, taking second place in her division. “It’s something everyone should try, really,” she said.

  6. During the 2014 summer tour, Bullet for my Valentine saw over 20,000 new fans. Jeremy Went and Josh Talbot were two of Southland High School’s students who attended the concert series. “I definitely felt confident about writing an essay on this one. It was awesome,” said Talbot.

  7. “No, I got you first!” said Mya Shamble about using the water ways as a battleground. She and Jessica Hailey took turns in the heat of Monday, July 3 splashing each other off. These Asian elephants, who are a bit smaller than African elephants, did not have to walk far from their village in SeiOto to get to the waterways.
