VOGUE VIBES st 1 Edition [April - August 2024] DEPARTMENT OF FASHION AND APPAREL DESIGN Inter Collegiate Fest Our students showcased their incredible talents at the inter-collegiate fest, participating as both designers and models. The fashion show was a spectacular celebration of creativity and style, where the designers amazed the audience with their innovative collections. From bold, vibrant patterns to elegant, sophisticated ensembles, each piece was a work of art. The models strutted confidently down the runway, bringing the latest trends to life and adding their unique flair to every outfit. Cheers and applause filled the room, creating an atmosphere of excitement and celebration. 4. Bangalore Times Fashion Week The audience were captivated by the vibrant colors, intricate details, and unique designs showcased by our students. Each garment told a story, reflecting the diverse themes chosen by the designers. As the models confidently strutted down the runway, the spotlight highlighted craftsmanship and innovation that our students had poured into their creations. The Bangalore Times Fashion Show was not just a display of style; it was a celebration of boundless creativity and talent within our budding designers. the exceptional Industry Visit to Weavers Service Centre The visit to the Weavers Service Centre was truly enlightening for the students. Witnessing first-hand the intricate art of weaving, printing, and dyeing opened up a whole new world of creativity and craftsmanship. The students had the opportunity to observe each step of the fabric construction process, from the initial stage to the final finishing touch. This hands-on experience not only broadened their knowledge but also sparked their imagination. 6. Visit to GAFX Event Animation students embarked on an immersive journey at GAFX, exploring a world of creativity. From captivating clay art to mesmerizing movie VFX, dynamic robotic displays, and live sketch sessions, they delved into a wide spectrum of artistic dimensions. Photography Exhibit Step into the captivating world of creativity as the 5th-semester BVA Multimedia students at Vogue Institute of Art and Design showcase their mastery in conceptual photography. Experience a fusion of imagination and skill, where each frame tells a unique story, highlighting the brilliance and innovation of these emerging artists. Explore the depths of visual storytelling at its finest, captured by the visionaries of tomorrow. 7. DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR DESIGN AND DECORATION Wall Painting Workshop A 'Wall Painting Workshop' was conducted for the 1st-semester B.Sc.IDD students over three days in the IDD department corridor. This wall painting activity, part of their extracurricular learning, focused on the study of shapes, colors, and freehand sketching. The students were highly enthusiastic and showed full involvement throughout the entire process. Page No. 5

8. Brick Kiln On 4th October 2023, students of B.Sc.Interior Design (I, III, and V Semesters) visited a brick kiln located in Doddaballapur. The students had the opportunity to try their hands at brick-making alongside the workers. The owner also took the students on a tour, explaining the entire brick-making process. Acetech Exhibition 2023 ACETECH is the largest annual exhibition in India focused construction, engineering, materials, and allied sectors. It offers great opportunities to exhibit and create a lasting impression on the industry's decision- makers. This exhibition provided an authoritative representation of every sector in construction and design, showcasing the latest advancements in the industry to our interior design students. on architecture, building TV Reality Show Set Design B.Sc.IDD students visited a TV reality show set design as part of their studies. This visit explored the concept of set design, focusing on how to design temporary structures, the materials used, the importance of lighting, and sustainable design practices. Page No. 6

9. Workshop: Knife Art On Canvas The Knife Art Workshop, conducted for the students of B.Sc.IDD 1st semester, provided an educational and hands-on experience. It allowed students to learn various techniques and methods of using knife tools. The workshop gave students the opportunity to explore new ways of creating art and express their creativity in unique ways. Sitevisit : Tripura Vasini Palace Ground B.Sc.IDD students visited Municipalika 2023, the 17th Conference on Safe, Smart, and Sustainable Cities, held from 28th to 30th November at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru. Supported by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, and organized in cooperation with the Government of Karnataka, the event showcased innovative solutions for urban development. The students from the Interior Design Department attended the exhibition on 30th November 2023. International Exhibition and Landscape Painting Demo Workshop A Landscape Painting Demo Workshop was conducted for the 1st-semester IDD students by in-house faculty Mr.Puttrangaiah from the Animation Department. During the session, students observed the process of creating a landscape painting, learning the guidelines for color mixing and application. Page No. 7
