Help us keep the road outside our school safe by designing a banner to discourage parking on Zig-Zag lines and double yellow lines. Walk or cycle to school, or park and walk if driving. Police, Community, and Support Officer help enforce parking rules. The competition aims to raise awareness and promote a car-free environment for a safer school zone.

  16. We need your help! The BigZig Zag Banner Competition • Help us keep the road outside our school safe for pedestrians • Design your own banner that • asks tell drivers not to park or ‘stop and drop’ on our zig zags

The BigZigZag Banner Competition Key messages for the banner Tell drivers that: • they must not stop their car on the zigzag lines or park outside the school • It isn’t safe to stop and drop on the zigzags • it is not sensible to drive or park in the road directly outside the school • It is better to ‘park (at least 500 metres away from the school) and walk’ • Walking is better for our health and our environment than driving • Get your banner design guide from …? • Competition deadline…? The two winning designs will be made into a full sized banner for our school railings.
