  2. Network After Switch ByPass At BTS, the high capacity SONET ring was forced to protect path. BTS working fibre was spliced at the manhole for a pass through. Testing was performed using ODTR and power meter. Attenuators removed from this path at a the new adjacent sites to achieve the required availability. The same procedure was repeated for the protect path.
