Vincent Van Gogh • Vincent Willem Van Gogh was born on March 30th, 1853 in Zundert, Netherlands. • Vincent Willem Van Gogh died on July 29th, 1890 in Auvers-sur-oise, France. • He died at the age of 37 from a gunshot wound. • He also cut of his own ear because of an infection. • Vincent Willem Van Gogh was interested in art from the age 7 through 9

Post- Impressionist • Vincent van Gogh was a post Impressionist. • Post impressionist means person who follows or adheres to the theories, methods, and practices of impressionism, fields of painting, music, or literature • It made him be a post- impressionist because he got inspired by the two artists below: • George Seurat: Pointillism • Paul Cezanne: Neo Impressionist (mid 1800 and early1890)
