Transformative Agenda: Enhancing Humanitarian Response in Level 3 Emergencies

In December 2011, the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) adopted the Transformative Agenda to improve humanitarian response in crises. It focuses on better leadership, enhanced accountability to all stakeholders, and improved coordination among agencies. By implementing these changes, we aim to save more lives and respond faster during Level 3 emergencies. Key components include a roster of emergency coordinators, strengthened NGO representation, and a common humanitarian program cycle to ensure collective results.
