College recommended • A) 4 years of English • B) 3 years of Math recommended (Beginning with Algebra) • C) 3 years of Science with lab • D) 2 years of Social Science/History • E) 2 years of Foreign Language • F) 2 years of visual arts (drama, visual art, choir, etc.) • G) 1 year of electives

REQUIREMENTS to qualifyfor the AB 540: CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY – LONG BEACH ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ College Assistance Migrant Program • Attend a California high school for 3 or more years; • Have graduated from a high school in California or received the “GED”; • Apply to and attend a university or community college in California (CSU, UC, private university & community college) ; • Submit a declaration with the university or college (not with the department of immigration) that the student will apply for legalization of immigration residency status when eligible. AB-540: Local tuition qualification form The student fills out and signs the form and turns it into all of the colleges and universities that he/she will be attending The student must turn in a final officialsealed high school transcript to all of the colleges and universities that he/she attends
