  3. Schedule - August • August 5-19: Phase 1 • 10^8 events @ all ATLAS sites • VDT 1.1.1 • Hierarchical GIIS server • GRAPPA - Athena-atlfast 3.2.0 • Magda - data & replica management, metadata catalogue • 10 physics processes • MDS based job scheduler • GridView+perl?+visualization

  4. Schedule - September • September 2-16: Phase 2 • 10^9 events @ all sites • 1 TB storage, 40k files • VDT, Grappa and Magda same • 20 physics processes • Upgraded BNL VO manager • Dynamic job scheduler • Fancy monitoring • Athena-atlfast 3.2.0 instrumented

  5. Long Production • Currently limited U.S. participation in DC1 - BNL only • Need packaging for U.S. grid deployment - NorduGrid? • CPU intensive - use farms • Quality of service important • Emphasis on Virtual Data • Plan: July-November 2002
