  3. Don’t Say…….. “Ummm, hi.” “I don’t know my essential questions.” “I don’t know what a community is.” “Um, I, like, don’t remember what I learned.” “I, ummm, didn’t do nothin’ in my project. Like…my partners did everything.” “I don’t know anything about my ancient society.” “I learned that Pomona is cool.”

  4. Do…… • Make eye contact. • Shake hands. • Greet everyone! • Stand straight. • Answer questions. • Look professional.

  5. Don’t……… • Be rude! • Ignore people. • Chew gum. • Talk to your friends the whole time. • Use slang/bad words. • Sit on top of the tables. • Use your cell phone.

  6. What to Wear

  7. Remember…. Show what you have learned. Take pride in your hard work. Be a good representation of the SAE, 6th grade, your House class, your group. We believe in you!
