  2. www.clarin.eu Purpose/Use Cases • Allow faceted browsing based on cmdi metadata. Provide simple and easy access to resources Faceted Browsing: Intuitive searchable and browse-able interface, based around facets. Facets are aspects of the data that is searchable:

  4. www.clarin.eu Issues • Based on IMDI metadata not CMDI • Cannot get to resources quickly • Very unstable and slow

  5. www.clarin.eu New VLO Faceted Browser • Data analyzed is CMDI format • Currently IMDI, OLAC and LRT cimdified metadata • Stability issue solved and performance improved • You can get to resources directly from search results
