EPRUS system of quality management certified ISO 9001 • EPRUS has demonstrated its ability to consistently provide product that meets department of health requirements, and aims to enhance his performance through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to applicable statutory, regulatory requirements and pharmaceutical requirements. • In conclusion, EPRUS has obtained certificate ISO 9001 : 2008 on November 2010 by the French certification agency AFNOR Etablissement de Préparation et de Réponse aux Urgences Sanitaires

EPRUS was founded from the law of March 5th, 2007 relative to the health system preparation for large-scale sanitary threats • EPRUS is under the jurisdiction of the: • Ministry of Health • Ministry of Defence • Ministry of Homeland Security • Foreign Office (for overseas operations) Etablissement de Préparation et de Réponse aux Urgences Sanitaires

Why have a sanitary reserve? • Because of experiences and feedback from : • Heat wave 2003 ; • Chikungunya in Réunion island ; • Dengue fever in French Caribbean. • Preparation: • National plan for prevention and fight against influenza pandemic. • And also because we need to have potential human resources during crisis situation Etablissement de Préparation et de Réponse aux Urgences Sanitaires

What about Reservist’s course ? • A voluntary initiative ; • A 3 years contract between volunteers and EPRUS ; • A convention between: • the volunteer ; • his employer or his training institution (if it is a student) ; • EPRUS. • 45 daysmaximum per year.
