  6. Whole Blood (WB) • ACD or CPD 21 days 1-6 ºC • CPD-A1 35 days 1-6 ºC • CPD-A1+ AS 42 days 1-6 ºC • Volume 450 cc ± 10% • Usage = Sever Bleeding , Massive Transfusion , Surgery , Blood Exchange • Hct 40%

  7. Packed Cell (PC) • ACD or CPD 21 days 1-6 ºC • CPD-A1 35 days 1-6 ºC • CPD-A1+ AS 42 days 1-6 ºC • Volume 220 - 260 cc • Usage = Sever Bleeding , Anemia, Massive Transfusion , Surgery , Hemodialyze • Hct <80%

  8. Washed Red Cell (WRC) • Max 6 h in RT • Max 24 h in 1-6 ºC • Volume 250 cc • Usage = Reduces of fiver and allergic reactions with leukocytes and proteins. Prevention of anaphylactic shock.

  9. Platelet Concentration • Count 5.5 × 1010 • Volume 50 - 70 cc • 3 – 5 days 20 – 24 ºC • Usage = Thrombocytopenia , Prevention of Bleeding , Cardiac-Pulmonary Bypass

  10. Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP) • 1 year -18 ºC • Volume 200 – 260 cc • Include = Proteins , Coagulation factors , Complement • Usage = Liver Disease , DIC , Coagulation factor deficiency , Massive Transfusion , Coagulation Disorders. • Do not use of FFP for increasing blood volume or nutrition.

  11. Cryo Precipitation • VIII , VWF , XIII , Fibrinogen , Fibronectin • Volume 10 – 15 cc • 1 year -18 ºC • Usage = VWD , XIII and Fibrinogen Deficiency , Hemophilia A .

  12. Albumin • 3 years < 30 ºC • 5 % 250 -500 cc • 25 % 50 – 100 cc • Usage = Hypovolumic Shock , Blood Proteins Deficiency , Cerebral Edema , Increasing Ancotic Pressure , Blood Pressure Control.
