  5. 教材编写的宗旨和特色 ● 不求全，而求精； ● 不求繁，而求简； ● 兼顾实用性和先进性； ● 适当超前性。

  6. 教材的基本内容 分五篇，八章，一附录，共41万字 ● 基本实验操作与常用仪器使用（共3章） ● 经典验证性实验（共1章75个实验） ● 综合性实验（共1章12个实验） ● 创新实验（1章12个实验） ● 病案讨论与处方（2章） ● 附录

  7. 教材应用情况 ● 到2011年7月止，该教材已5次印刷；第5次 印刷，共印15500册。 ● 重庆医科大学各专业学生机能学教程均使 用本教材 ● 其他医学院校使用情况有待统计。
