  1. Summarize Each Paragraph Then answer the question

  2. Text 1 Rock music today is not what I grew up knowing it to be. When I first started listening to Rock music, there was a big divide between people who listened to Rock compared with people who listened to Rap. Rage Against The Machine was a unique band for being one of the first to mix rap with rock. I feel like this all started with the explosion of the internet, especially e-commerce and Peer-to-Peer sharing software. A big reason for the mixing was simply exposure to other genres. More people had access to more music more quickly, and mixing began, but perhaps not for the best. By: Samuals, A. (2008). Music City Press. Pg. 14.

  3. Text 2 Rock music is dying, and MTV is killing it. The musicthat once fueled rebellious teens of the generations before today's is slowly being destroyed by MTV, the station that once helped raise it to a higher status. MTV used to be a great place to find rock music with shows such as Headbanger's Ball and 120 Minutes. With Total Request Live being fueled by a large harem of teenage girls, all that is played is pop music. Rock music has no place in mainstream media anymore. If 'N Sync or the Backstreet Boys aren't in the spotlight, then some sellout rapper is. By: Adams, C. (2008). Mainstream Music. Pg. 42.

  4. Text 3 The youth of world are taking to rock music like never before and can be seen dancing and tapping to its beats everywhere. According to music lovers in New York, rock music helps in relaxing the disturbed minds of the youth. Rock band members of many groups trust that their enthusiastic performances will inspire youth around the world to pursue their talents and keep away from all destructive influences. By: Deniz, R. (2009). The Standard News. Pg. 06.
