Fire Hose Issues • Type II hose will replace Type I and cotton-synthetic? • Type II hose more costly • Some users prefer type I or cotton-synthetic • Per NFES committee – Retain type I and cotton-synthetic hoses but at lower stocking level than previous • Current stock position – Good on three items, Low on 1-1/2” synthetic (NFES 1239), 312 LG’s, more stock expected mid-May

  15. Type II Hose • Pricing issue to be revisited with contractor (NIB) prior to next contract option period (June 2006)
