  1. Weather Watchers Laura, Jemma and Sandra

  2. The idea for the site is an interactive way to teach earth science: weather to students (years 5/6)this is the home page, here we have explained what will be required of the students to complete this task.

  3. This page links to the syllabusbefore starting this task we think that the teacher should read through the syllabus and see if this is that they want to cover

  4. This page explains the journal component of the overall task and directs the teacher to the journal template located in the teachers recourses page .

  5. This can be printed out for each student of they can type it. It is important for them to keep a journal so that they are using the language they are learning in the correct context.

  6. The students will be recording their daily weather observations in an excel spread sheet (the template is located in the teachers resources page).

  7. As part of the activity students will be required to weekly skype with students at another school (in another state) and compare findings

  8. This is the page where all the teacher resources are located, the teacher will be able to print them or open them up on the whiteboard.

  9. These are resources that the students can use on their own or can be put on the whiteboard for the whole class
