  2. WELCOME BACK!!! • We have a very busy and exciting next couple of months. • DARE TO CARE (which will take on a new name) is March 8th and mini Spirit events ( including the week of Valentine’s day)

  3. TODAY • Go over the expectations for the spirit event and Dare to Care • Create 10 groups (you will be the same group for both the spirit event and Dare to Care) • School and Community Service hours/reflections due on =Thursday, January 17th—YOU CANNOT SIGN OFR EACH OTHER!

  4. Criteria • Spirit event criteria • Dare to Care Criteria • Since our goal is to network this cause, what can we say to people who think we need to focus on our own (our country, our province, our city)? (Celina and Katelon will be doing a lesson on our cause—Free the Children) • My response is simple: “People in Canada have a chance at a decent life”. Can we say the same for others in the world?

  5. CREATION OF THE GROUPS • Groups of 6 with only one group of 7. • Write group members names on a sheet of paper and hand in to me please.
