  2. From The Editors Desks We, the students of JSSPS, are proud and excited to launch over very first edition of our web magazine, WEBZINE. This magazine is special because it is the result of the wholehearted participation of all students at our school, including the tiny tots. The magazine will be updated every xx days for everyone's reading pleasure. On behalf of all the students, we would like to express our gratitude to the teachers for providing their expert advice in helping us to conceptualise and produce the magazine. Our special thanks to our respected principal who came up with the idea of launching 'Webzine', and helped us in a great way in taking it forward. This online magazine will contain all kinds of articles related to school activities, sports, education, entertainment, current affairs, and lots more that will hold reader interest.  We hope that this concept is well-received and successful, and that all of us benefit from it in many ways than we can count. 6. 2012 What’s going to happen in 2012? Year 2012 is horrifying!!! Rumor’s spread all over the world about the disastrous end the planet “EARTH” sickening. I completely object this. I strongly prefer “Earth” to be ever – green for million and trillion years. In 2012 the metropolitan city “Chennai” must turn into a clean city. I am sure that no tragedy will occur on Earth in 2012 but Earth will become much better place to live. By – Grade 6

  15. The Tsunami in Japan On March 11, 2011 an earthquake struck off the coast of Japan, churning up a devastating tsunami that swept over cities and farmland in the northern part of the country and set a off warnings as far away the west coast United States and South America. Recorded as 9.0 on the Richter scale it was the most powerful earthquake ever to hit the country. As the nation struggled with a rescue effort, it also faced the worst nuclear emergency since Chernobyl; explosions and leaks of radioactive the gas took place in three reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station the suffered partial meltdown while spent fuel rods at another reactor overheated and caught fire, releasing radioactive material directly into the atmosphere Japanese officials turned to increasingly desperate measures, as traces of radiation were found in Tokyo’s water and in water pouring from the reactors into the ocean. A month later the earthquake, nuclear officials put the same calegeory of severity as the Chernobyl disaster. As of April 18, the officials death toll had been raised to 13,800, and more than 14,000 people were listed as missing, although there may be some over lap between the two groups. By: Grade 7

  16. The Age of The Dinosaurs The scene at the start of The Land Before Time where there is an earthquake and the mother dinosaur dies is one of the saddest moments. The dinosaurs were big, green animals that lived a really, really long time ago. Of course you couldn't really fit a dinosaur into a nutshell, not even a coconut shell, because all dinosaurs were huge. A common misconception, fueled by anti-dinosaur Zionist propaganda such as Jurassic Park, is that there were many varieties of dinosaur in all shapes and sizes. This is not true at all. Every single dinosaur was a huge, hulking, brute that spent all day eating plants, sleeping, and sleep-eating. This in brief is the history of the entire world during the age of the dinosaurs.
