Critical and Near Critical path items • Orange – <15 days total slack • Yellow - >15 days < 30 days total slack • Step IV Data Taking period starting 11th August 2015 • Hard end date of 1st June 2016 • RF looks to be off of the Critical path but only has 0.5 days total slack so will be treated as on the critical path. • PRY, Magnet and Cavity Installation complete 1st Feb 2017 • Construction complete, including RF without B-Field 24th March 2017 • Commissioning complete, including RF with B-Field 2nd May 2017 To CompletionCritical and Near 3

Milestone ID numbers 1 – 8 are the original milestones tracked in the dashboard. • Milestone ID number 9 – 21 are new and are now tracked I the dashboard. • Reporting on the dashboard and in future Review meetings will be against these baseline milestones. • The period for data taking will be subject to grant requests (UK FY16/17 onward), the final milestone, 21, may be revised after discussion. On a monthly basis a progress and forecast report is passed to the STFC Project Risk Committee. • High level view of the projects across the STFC • For a long time the project has been Red on the Risk Register. • Cost and Schedule • Following the recent MPB and RLSR confidence in the project is growing • The latest PRC meeting, after the recent reviews, has down graded the project risk from Red to Amber. • This is a huge endorsement to the project following the recent work in re-scoping the project to completion and the PRC having confidence in our attaining the cost and schedule profile laid out. Detailed schedule of installation is being build • Interaction between many teams of mechanical and electrical • During the PRY plate installation long working days will be in action • Heavy equipment being installed • We must be safe in the hall and so general walk about will not be allowed • A job card system has been introduced • Any work for the hall must be put through the job card system, either mechanical or electrical • An online program is being used at the moment with a small group to test the system • Will be rolled out to a wider team soon • Available in any browser • IOS app Hall work 7

Specification for the Cooling demonstration • Capture the requirements for each sub system • Skeleton has been produced and sections will be fleshed out • Three sections • Management • Technical • Physics • It will not be a single documents but a place to link to subject areas already in existence Cooling Demonstration Specification 8

  9. Asbestos work is being carried out soon • Moved much of the spares and equipment • Will need to share with a group from TD • Small experiments • Refurbishment complete June Working Space Moving out of this area Current R9 experimental area ~200m2 Additional Experimental area ~170m2 9

We are now in the Atlas building • Visitor network and EduRoam available • Swipe access is needed to get in and out • Contact Rose and she will get your visitor pass activated, if not already done • Some desks have monitors and keyboards to use, more will be purchased. • Seating plan for regular visitors has been made • If you would like to request a persistent desk space for you institute please ask me and I will allocate a space. • A POD is being purchased and will be installed in the open plan area. • Secure space for MICE NET to be accessed • Remote MICE Control Room • Many status monitors will be installed • A second POD will be purchased for MICE to use as a meeting room Office Space 10
