  4. Ada County Addressing Overview • Need has arisen for county-wide address points • Crime analysis Report Management System (RMS) • Next Generation 911 (NG911) • Responsibility split among: • Boise City • Meridian City • Kuna City • Ada County dnarsavage@adaweb.net

Intra-County Working Group • Composed of… • Boise City (Jimae Haynes) • Meridian City (Robin Jack, Wilma Robertson) • Kuna City (Mike Borzick) • Ada County (Dan Narsavage) • Created Ada County exchange standard (ACX) • Provides format for exchange, not for storage & maintenance • Based largely upon Idaho Structures & Landmarks Data Exchange Standard (ISLDES) dnarsavage@adaweb.net

  6. Using County-wide Address Points • To improve gov’t service delivery • RMS went live in August • Addressing techs cooperate more easily • NG911 is coming . . . eventually dnarsavage@adaweb.net

Pulling Ada County’s Critical Features out of Critical Condition • Stewards of critical feature information: • School districts, cities’ planning depts, county planners, police, fire districts, cities’ fire depts, BHS, cities’ public works depts, sewer districts, water districts, health districts, highway districts, ITD, cities parks depts, county parks dept, state parks dept, etc, etc… • Who can coordinate all of this? dnarsavage@adaweb.net
