  1. Aquaculture: The Fastest Growing Business In Food Sector With the rising growth in the demand for consumption of seafood and the health benefits yielded from it, the business of harvesting aquatic plants and organisms in controlled conditions on a business scale is popular in the current age. Large tanks and artificial ponds are created to carry this endeavour of producing for the mass and meeting their requirements. Such a farming method is called aquaculture. Since the production is done to satiate human appetite, it requires far more reaching means like stocking water with seeds, feeding organisms, maintaining water quality etc. Over time it has become the fastest-growing food sector that accounts for 50% of the world's fish. Such a positive scenario has not come into delivery overnight but with due efforts from the industries and companies like KCT Group, led by Varun Thapar that has its immense contribution in this field. The use of technology, scientific knowledge, and manoeuvred practices have ensured better maintenance. The aquaculture industry is not only lucrative in mercenary terms for people engaged in it, but also proves environmentally healthy for extinct species and as healthier habitats. Because of its wide scope and different types like Mariculture, Fish farming, Algaculture, integrated multi-trophic aquaculture, it has established an integrated role in the employment generation. Few advantages of this practice are: -Have Advanced The Scientific Research and Basis of Pisciculture. Aqua farms are important in the scientific study of aquatic animals and their breeding activities. The optimum temperature for their growth in the enclosed areas, the crossbreeding amongst fishes and study of their interaction for sustainable produce, environmental impact etc., are studied. It also conserves biodiversity and is a business that allows for large fish produce.

  2. Preserves Natural Systems and Save Resources The production process is cheaper in this sector for the fact that less feed is required to make more food. It secures reserves and has fewer negative impacts on the environment. Coastal regions are suitable for aqua farming owing to their location around oceans and seas. Pros of Commercial Farmed Aquatic Food It has also been observed that the aquatic farming of fishes has proved more beneficial in dietary terms than the sea creatures because they are raised in healthier, germ-free and more eco-friendly environments. They are constantly checked for any developed diseases, mutations of the sort, bacterial or viral infection and hygienic setup. Hence, they are more chosen and suitable to the taste of many. Also, they have enriched vitamins, protein and minerals. Independent Market Scenario The dependence on aquatic creatures in healthy cuisines and culture of many countries had made aquatic farming a prosperous and booming business in the marine market. One can also set up their own business of fishing with the funds collected and grown. A secured business can be established with proper means. Less competition and more demand are some of the characteristics of aquaculture. Most people in the coastal areas are engaged in fishing, and these are then transported to different states all over the country as well as exported by companies internationally. With meagre investment, a large profit can be expected. Companies like KCT Group also offer aquaculture services and assistance in employment.
