  2. Info about the assassination • Date- April 14, 1865- died April 15, 1865 at 7:22am at the Petersen’s Boarding house. • Lincoln went to Ford’s Theatre to see “Our American Cousin”, he was shot in the State Box by John Wilkes Booth.

  3. More Info about the assassination • The assassination paused the whole reconstruction plan. It also caused people to loose sanity (mainly Northerners) • The key players in this assassination were Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth.

  4. Pictures Interesting Fact- Ford tried to reopen the theatre after the assassination of Lincoln. The government bought it from Ford for $100,000, turning it into office space. Then another tragedy happed in the theater in 1893. The interior floors collapsed, 23 office workers were killed.
