AKS for Algebra Third Quarter Linear Functions Systems of Equations Scatter Plots and Lines of Best Fit Fourth Quarter CRCT Review  Preview for 9th grade First Quarter Solving Equations/Expressions Transformations: Translation, Reflection, Rotation and Dilation Second Quarter Exponents/ Scientific Notation Radicals Pythagorean Theorem Distance Formula & Volume Functions/Relations

  4. Class Procedures • Get supplies listed on the board and take to desk • Agenda – When students first sit down in class, they must get out their agenda and fill it out with the homework assignment, teacher comes around and “checks” it (literally)  • Begin Warm-Ups – 4 problems daily done in composition book, 4 students picked randomly to complete on board, correct answers get candy • Essential Question and Lesson – Using their EQ composition book, students write the question and answer on the left side and examples on the right side • Independent Practice – Assignments to do at home

The higher of the two test Interims and Finals 15% grades will taken. Students must attend a review Homework 5% session prior to re-taking the test. A re-take form must also be completed and signed by a parent.
