  1. INDIA NO.1 GATE COACHING CENTER

  2. Success follows hard work • Immense passion, hard work...made it possible. • Be thorough with the basic concepts • Presentation Skills a crucial aspect of the exam

  3. Understand what is to be done-My success mantra • Every year in B.Tech is crucial. • Research is the only way for our self reliance. • Interlink the theory and problem solving approach of the B.Tech syllabus

  4. Practicing tests was my success mantra • One should have good grip on the B.Tech subjects and follow analytical approach while studying the syllabus. • We should be clear on our approach towards our goal. • Refer to books by good foreign authors for concepts and books by Indian authors for numericals.

  5. Understanding the basics and being practical in learning. • Never compromise on revision time • Never think that you can’t do it. Keep working hard and don’t give-up. • Practice as many questions as you can before the exam

  6. Make a strategy of the way in which you are going to attempt the paper and practice at-least 2-3 papers based on that strategy and, if required, make changes to score maximum. • Undergo many mock tests as possible and evaluate your scores. • Never go empty stomach and without proper sleep.

  7. Read and understand the question completely. understand what is given and what is asked for. • Look at the answer choices and eliminate ones that are obviously wrong  • Look for patterns in the choices. sometimes, the choice that sticks out the most is probably a wrong choice. sometimes, all the choices contain the same variables but in different positions.

  8. Start serious preparation early. • First to cover the topics in depth. • Just before 4 months of exam, I started solving past 10 years gate papers.  (should be done twice) • Non-technical question is like extra wings to your score card, so keep frequent practice.

  9. Skip All such question which you don’t know or you think it will take more time. • Don't study unnecessary topics and waste your time in solving problem sheet. • Solving the last 10 years gate paper will give u enough practice.

  10. Schedule allot the time to each topic depending on respective importance and my strengths and weaknesses, and of course hard-work. • The study material mainly consisted of class notes by the faculty of the coaching centre (Vani institute)
