Prieur De La Côte D'or High School: A Historic Legacy in Auxonne

This high school, named after Claude-Antoine Prieur-Duvernois, a significant figure in the French Revolution, holds a rich heritage. Founded in 1895 as a primary school, it evolved into a high school in 1950 with various academic offerings and options, including Literature, Science, Economy, History, and Management courses. The school is housed in a historically significant building, the former Arsenal, now repurposed with modern amenities for education. The campus features a media center, sick room, staff room, classrooms, cafeteria, and green spaces with trees and a river nearby. The school fosters a respectful and inclusive environment, with friendly and dedicated teachers.
