  1. Biblical Prophecy Understanding the Times We Live In… • Daniel & Gabriel • Jesus in Matthew 24 • The Revelation

  2. Daniel & Gabriel • Daniel 2:32-33 – 587 BC (a captive in Babylon) • Daniel recalls and interprets King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream; in doing so he will prophesy the four great kingdom’s of that time: • 1. Babylonian (gold head) • 2. Medes & Persians (two arms of silver) • 3. Greeks (belly & thighs of brass) • 4. Romans (legs & feet of iron and clay)

  3. Daniel & Archangel Gabriel • Daniel 7 & 12 • Gabriel appears to Daniel to answer his prayerful question to God and the Heavenly Hosts. • First prophecy answers the questions: “What is to come of God’s promise? How long until the end times?” • Answer: Four beast shall rule and challenge anything spiritual, the saintly souls, and even the “Ancient of Days.” The beasts shall challenge spirituality for “a time, times, and a half time, then be overthrown and the Kingdom of God shall reign for ever and ever.”

  4. Daniel & Gabriel • Daniel 9:24-26 – 586 BC • Second prophecy is about the Temple and Jerusalem that Nebuchadnezzar’s army destroyed, and how the scattered Jews will return and rebuild. • The Persians conquered Babylon. Then Esther convinced the Persian emperor to allow the Jews to return and rebuild. Ezra, Nehemiah, Jeshua, and others rebuilt the Temple and portions of the city. (537-516 BC)

  5. Daniel & Gabriel • Daniel 9:24-26 – 586 BC • Third prophecy is that an “anointed one” is coming. He will be rejected and the Temple will be destroyed again! (70 AD, Roman General Titus) “Anointed One” in Hebrew is Mashiach which is transliterated to Messiah, in Greek it is Christos which is transliterated to Christ.

  6. Jesus’ Prophecy (Matthew 24) • The Temple will be destroyed (it was in 70 AD) • Many will come and say “I am the Christ, follow me,” or “the Christ is over there, go.” But let no one deceive you, for the kingdom of God is within you. • There will be wars and rumors of war; • Nations shall rise up against Nations; • There shall be famines and earthquakes; • But all these are the beginning of the birth pains! • The love of many will wax cold. Except those days be shortened, even the Elect would fall away. • The Sun shall be darkened, the Moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from the heavens. • Then comes the Son of Man on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

  7. Jesus’ Surprising Message • “It is not for a good work that we stone you but for blasphemy; because you, being a man, make yourself God.’ Jesus answered them: “Is it not written in your law, ‘I have said, you are gods’?” John 10:33-34 • “I have said, ‘You are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.” Psalm 82:6-7

  8. The Revelation • Cayce taught that the first ten chapters are about spiritualizing the body, the next ten about spiritualizing the mind, and the last two about the fulfillment of God’s promise.

  9. The Revelation 20 • Behold, the dragon, the serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, shall be bound for a thousand years! • There will be no evil, no hatred, and no temptations during these thousand years.

  10. The Revelation 21 • “Behold, God shall wipe away all tears from people’s eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away. And he said unto me, ‘It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give freely of the fountain of the Water of Life to him and her who is thirsty.’”

  11. The Revelation 22 • “There shall be no more curse; but the throne of God and of the Lamb of God shall be in them; and his servants shall serve him; and they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light; and they shall reign for ever and ever.”
