  1. SNMP • Features • You can retrieve MIB-2 and private MIB objects to use software such as SNMP manager software. ( In the case of reading private MIB , MIB definition file is required separately ) For obtaining this file, please contact your local Sony Sales Office. • The information you can get through SNMP -The coldStart trap -The authentication failure trap -The sensor input status trap -The object (moving object/unattended object) Detection result trap -The encoder error trap. • Benefit • IT manager can treat IP camera with SNMP same as other network devices through a SNMP manager software.Consequently the system management costs will be reduced. • CGI command / Syntax 1. SettingCommand (See page 2 for details.)2. Inquiry Command (See page 5 for details.) • Notes • To use this function, perform its related settings with the CGI command. Note that this setting option is not provided with the setting menu of a camera. • SNMP setup is enabled by using HTTP protocol (CGI) (SNMP protocol cannot be used).
