The Need: • CSS HR uses various logs to track LOA, work restrictions, work accommodations and employee relation issues. • Have a centralized location with information that could be used by all HR staff. • Uniform tracking mechanism for auditing and statistical purposes.
HR Tracker will: • Eliminate the use of various tracking logs. • Centralize the location of this information regarding an employee. • Implement a formal devise for interactive process meetings. • Provide a tool to enable HR to produce statistical reports that can be used by the Executive Team.
The Team’s Goals: • CSS HR is always trying to increase efficiencies. In collaboration with CSS IT, it created a system that will: • Allow the HR team to have an efficient and uniform way of managing the different HR functions. • Streamline the team’s functions. • Eliminate redundancy. • Provide access to collecting statistical data.
Most recently • IT completed the design and programming of the LOA screen. • Records staff have completed the testing phase of the LOA screen. • The next screen to be released for testing, Workers’ Compensation screen. • The program should be completed by June 2011.
