2. כינויי הגוף I He She It You We They לכל כינויי גוף יש את ה Be המתאים לו. אין משפט באנגלית בלי פועל. הפועל Be הוא פועל עזר שעוזר לבנות משפט. Be הוא שם כולל ל- Am , Is, Are

3. There was an old farmer. He had 3sons. Am was the youngest. Is was the middle son and Are was the oldest. The farmer had 7 fields. He gave names to the fields. היה היה איכר זקן שנטה למות. היו לו שלושה בנים.Am שהיה הצעיר בניהם, Is שהיה הבן האמצעי ו- Are שהיה הבכור. לאיכר היו 7 שדות. הוא נתן שמות לשדות. The Old Farmer

4. The smallest field was called I. 3 bigger fields were called He , She, It. The 3 last biggest Fields were called You , We, They. He called his 3 sons and said: “ I am going to die. I give each one of you fields” השדה הקטן ביותר נקרא I . שלושת השדות הבינוניים נקראו He, She , It. ושלושת השדות הגדולים ביותר נקראו You, We, .They האיכר קרא לבניו ואמר " אני נוטה למות. אני נותן לכל אחת מכם שדות.

5. The farmer gave the field I to the young boy Am . He gave the fields He She It to the middle son: Is. And the 3 fields You We They, he gave to his oldest son Are. וכך חילק האיכר את הירושה. לבן הקטן Am נתן את השדה שנקרא I שכן בודד היה. לבן האמצעי Is נתן את שלושת השדות He, She , It שכן יחידים היו. ולבן הבכורAre נתן את השדות You We They שכן גדולים הם היו. (רבים)

7. I am He She is happy It You We are They בדרך כלל אחרי הפועל Be יבוא תואר כגון: sad
