  1. The Five Senses of The Human Body: Facts Figure & Functionality

  2. Sense organs is the part of the body. The traditional classification of the five sense organs: sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing. Each of the 5 senses consists of organs with specialized cellular structures that have receptors for specific stimuli. Without these organs we can’t leave.. Our sense organs it is a very important role in our everyday lives as they allow us to sense things. This sense organ is used to touch and feel things.

  3. 5 senses of the body and their functions 1. SIGHT 2. HEARING 3. SMELL 4. TASTE 5. TOUCH

  4. SIGHT This sense organ allows us to see. Eye is an organ of vision. It has a complex structure consist of a transparent lense that focuses light on the retina. Retina is covered by the two types of light-sensitive cells-rods and cones. The human eye is not a sensitive polarization of light. The image on the retina is upside-down because of the focus action of the lens, the brain compensates and provides the right-side-up perception .

  5. HEARING The ear is the organ of hearing. The brain combines the input of our two ears to determine the direction and distance of sounds. Our ears help us to hear. It is divided into 3 parts i.e. the outer ear, middle ear, and the inner ear. The ear uses bones, hairs, and fluid to convert sound waves into sound signals. The human ear can think frequency from 16 cycle per second. It is a very deep bass to 28000 cycle per second, it is a very high pitch. Hearing impairment is the inability of hearing.

  6. SMELL This sense organ allows us to smell things. Our sense of smell is able to determine seven types of sensations. Those are camphor, ether, musk, flower, mint, acrid, or putrid. These smells are vapors of various substances. Dogs have a sense for smell in many times for a sensitive than man’s.

  7. TASTE This sense organ allows us to taste things. The tongue also helps us with our speech. The taste buds for "sweet" are on the tip of the tongue; the "salt" taste buds are on either side of the front of the tongue; "sour" taste bud behind this and "bitter" taste buds are way in the back. There are five basic tastes is saltiness, sourness, sweetness, bitterness, and umami. The case of colour blindness, some people are insensitive to taste

  8. TOUCH This sense organ is used to touch and feel things. We can feel when something is hot or cold, something is smooth, rough, hard or soft. We can also tell when someone is touching us or when something is placed on our skin. Some part of the body have a large number of nerves ending and it is more sensitive .There are four type of touch sensation: cold, hot , contact and pain.
